Mercedes-Benz Design
The new philosophy of Mercedes-Benz’s deign will be available for those who are visiting the Museum of Applied Arts in the coming weeks. The exhibition takes place within the Design Week Budapest event, on the occasion of the new Factory under construction in Kecskemét and the cooperation with Moholy-Nagy University of Arts who is celebrating its 130 birthday.
Advancing R&D circumstances at Kecskemét College
The consortium composed of lead partner Kecskemét College and project partners Budapest University of Technology and Economics - Electronic Vehicle and Vehicle-Control Knowledge Center, AIPA Ltd., and Albstadt-Sigmaringen College proved to be successful in TÁMOP 4.1.2 tender - obtaining a 287 million HUF contribution for technology and knowledge transfer development in order to embed automotive related investments-participants more into the region.
Uniform curricula for the automotive education
The "Uniform vehicle- and mobile machines training- and curricula development" competition of the consortium - lead partner Kecskemét College and project partners Budapest University of Technology and Economics and AIPA - proved to be among the winners in TÁMOP 4.1.2. The project budget is 271 million HUF, dedicated for the development of 78 electronic curricula, along with the launching of the vehicle-engineer faculty.

Road show preview #3
The roadshow of AIPA is on the go again. Its next stop is Lajosmizse, on the 23rd of april 2010, 11.00. The exact location is yet unknown. The seat awaits everyone with open doors, especially the Respresentatives of the Education, Economic and Municipal branch of the City and the Region are expected to come.
AIPA cluster is founded
On the 14th of April 2010, AIPA cluster was founded by thirty institutes. The founding members come from various branches but they have one in common, they all are tied to Kecskemét by local agencies. Future member are awaited whom can be from all around the brighter Region – the three counties of southern great-plain, and the southern end of the county Pest.
Daimler is still awaiting further employees
Népszabadság interviewed László Schmiedt (HR manager), Markus Mönkhoff (HR Director) and Stefan Putzlocher (Head of Logistics and Quality assurance), among many other novelties, we could find out that the company supports future employees to settle down. (source nol.hu - in Hungarian)
AIPA road show #1 - Nagykőrös
The road show of AIPA started, its first stage was Nagykőrös.
Discussion with the Coordinating Bodies
At first, discussions were held with the coordinating bodies (Development 2009.12.08., Corporate 2009.12.10., R & D 2009.12.04, Educational 2009.12.04), so that they could paraphrase the expectations of the represented entities, i.e. what are the needs and requirements to be fulfilled by the initiated projects in the future (These criterias will be enforced during the planning phase by the working groups).
Preliminary project portfolio
A preliminary project portfolio was created, which shows the main areas (Infrastructure, Human Resource, R & D, Innovation, Procurement, Supplier systems) where the projects will be realized in big numbers, as well as the four areas (physical environment, social environment, logistics, PR) wich require the biggest development through these projects.
