Advancing R&D circumstances at Kecskemét College
The consortium composed of lead partner Kecskemét College and project partners Budapest University of Technology and Economics - Electronic Vehicle and Vehicle-Control Knowledge Center, AIPA Ltd., and Albstadt-Sigmaringen College proved to be successful in TÁMOP 4.1.2 tender - obtaining a 287 million HUF contribution for technology and knowledge transfer development in order to embed automotive related investments-participants more into the region.
The aim of the project is to exploit the knowledge of the future Automotive department, and with the help of its partners expand his competences on the field of education, technology and research, to develop its services of technology and research transfer and enhance its conditions of research and development.
The long term focus of Kecskemét College is to become an attractive intellectual center for the inhabitants of the region in the first place, i.e. the qualification of its departments (technical, horticultural, pedagogic) will be beneficial in the highest extent, helping the graduates to find a job, plan a carrier contribute with quality added value. The basic goal for the college is to fit for the most important tasks of a European level college, i.e. up to date education, scientific research, development and innovation activities, technology transfer, professional consultancy.
The aim is to create an automotive technology transfer and project coordination office, which strengthens the professional standard of technical engineering, expands the cooperation on regional, national and international level, enhances the level of present professional activities. Active relationship with the international companies in the region (Hilti, Thyssen-Krupp, Knorr-Bremse, PhoenixMechano, Mercedes-Benz) on the field of education and research, in order to link the college into the cycle of regional economy.
