What are the main activities of AIPA?

AIPA’s activities include strategic planning and coordination, this means it doesn’t and can’t act as an employment agency bureau.

It consults the working groups and the coordinating bodies on a monthly basis to accomplish the following tasks:

  • Creates the strategic plan for the automotive industry of the region
  • It builds and maintains connections between the participants and the environment
  • It determines the areas to be developed, and defines projects to help them in the process
  • It initiates projects of high importance
  • Classifies projects suiting the “Economy Development Program” coming from outer sources
  • It develops a project classification system, and consults the participants
  • Monitors the realization of classified projects
  • Controls the realization of the “Economic Development Program”, continuous monitoring and information providing
  • Manages the project-portfolio
  • Cluster-management

The municipality of Kecskemét has reduced the local business tax rate from 5 to 3 percent, and made healthcare and tourism developments, all of which provide better and more possibilities to those who want to invest in the region.
It is essential for the participants to meet the qualifying criterias, to be able to show references, to base it’s application not only on it’s current competitive edge, because one of the main aspects of qualification of the candidates will be it’s ability to create and preserve jobs.
